The Cork Stroke Support (CSS) annual golf classic takes place on August 28 and 29 at Mahon Golf Club.
CSS was established in 2010 by a group of volunteers and currently provides a five-day service at its centre in Blackrock.
The CSS centre in Blackrock has grown significantly over the years.
It offers services including physiotherapy and nurse-led stroke day programme, counselling, information session, gym sessions, exercise classes, art and music classes, and members' outings.
Dan Cronin, chairman of the Cork Stroke Support committee, said: "Fundraising is massively important to the work CSS does, and without it the charity wouldn't be able to support the more than 200 people and families dealing with the effects of stroke in Cork and across Munster.”
The two-day golf classic has tee times available from 12.00pm to 3pm on Friday and 11.35am to 3pm on Saturday.
The format of the event is a three ball scramble and the cost per team of three is €120.
Tee times can be booked through the CSS office in Blackrock.
The event is sponsored by The Carbon Group and boxes can also be sponsored for €50.
