Feast of events lined up for Midleton food festival next month

The countdown is officially on as 'fEast', Eeast Cork’s food and drink festival, returns next month to Midleton.
[/url]Throughout festival week, visitors will be able enjoy an exciting calendar of exclusive events hosted by some of East Cork’s best-known restaurants, producers and hospitality businesses.
The festival culminates in the popular fEast street festival on the Sunday, when Midleton town centre will transform into a vibrant food village welcoming visitors from across Cork and beyond.
The week opens with the official fEast launch party at Midleton Distillery experience, celebrating the craftsmanship and stories behind Ireland's most celebrated whiskeys.
Other events to look forward to include a farm to fork dinner at Yellow Belly Farm, a wine, cheese and charcuterie tasting at Fota Island Resort, Irish tapas evenings, creative food experiences, live music, painting workshops, children’s baking sessions, farmers’ market events and much more.
There will also be many hands-on experiences, foraging adventures and thought-provoking conversations, celebrating the best of East Cork food culture.
