Spells of heavy rain forecast for Cork as Met Éireann issues yellow rain warning
The status yellow weather warning for Cork will come into effect from midnight on Monday until noon on Tuesday.
Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for Cork for tomorrow, Tuesday November 11.
Persistent and heavy rain at times is expected to bring localised flooding and poor visibility creating difficult travelling conditions.
The warning, issued on Sunday morning, will be in effect from midnight tonight through to 2pm on Tuesday in Cork.

Road users on Tuesday morning are advised to exercise caution and allow extra time for their journeys.
The national forecaster has said Cork can expect unsettled weather for the remainder of the weekend, with intermittent showers today turning into a cloudy and misty night.
Met Éireann has said Tuesday morning will be wet and blustery, with periods of heavy and persistent rain causing localised flooding. The afternoon will see some occasionally strong, and gusty southeast winds veering southerly.
There will be further spells of rain or showers for a time on Tuesday night, heavy at times, but a clearance to drier weather with clear spells and just isolated showers will develop overnight and into Wednesday.
Yellow rain warnings will also be in place in Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Tipperary, Waterford until 5pm on Tuesday.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution on the roads as Met Éireann have warned of localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility.
