Light up for a musical journey as land of Oz comes to Cork

Cork will host Candlelight®: The Wizard of Oz - A Classical Concert Picture: Fever.

Candlelight: The Wizard of Oz — A Classical Concert is coming to Cork on October 26.

The Aula Maxima at University College Cork (UCC) will be transformed by the glow of thousands of candles, as audiences are taken on a journey to the land of Oz.

The concert will feature a classical string quartet who will be performing famous songs from The Wizard of Oz soundtrack such as Over the Rainbow, along with iconic pieces such as If I Only Had a Brain, We’re Off to See the Wizard, Follow the Yellow Brick Road, and more.

Anyone interested in attending the concert can sign up for the waiting list (link below) on the Fever app and website, for exclusive access to tickets prior to them going on sale to the public.

Tickets go on public sale Thursday, September 4.
