Louise O'Neill will headline the special event in St Luke's.
Award-winning Clonakilty author Louise O’Neill will headline a special event in Cork city as part of the West Cork Literary Festival this October.
The event, taking place at St Luke’s, comes ahead of the release of Ms O’Neill’s latest venture, , which is a part-memoir, part-manifesto, that follows her journey through romance and womanhood in her late 30s.
During the event, Ms O’Neill will take to the stage for an interview on her latest work with acclaimed comedian, writer and broadcaster, Cork woman Maeve Higgins.
At 38 years old, Ms O’Neill’s long-term relationship ended, leading her on a dating experiment that took her across Paris, London, New York, and beyond.
, which will be published on September 24, is described as a candid and courageous exploration of modern womanhood and sexual freedom.
The Live at St Luke’s event will take place on October 8 from 8pm, with tickets now available for purchase.
