Registration for the GAA club teenage development summer sessions is open. The sessions are open to boys and girls aged 12-15 and will include hurling, camogie, and football skills development, strength and conditioning development, and mental health/personal development and more. The sessions will run from June 24 -26 in Carrigaline GAA Club from 10am-2pm over the three days. The annual Carrigaline pilgrimage to Knock will take place on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday June 28/29.
Carrigaline Tidy Towns are seeking support from all in the community during the judging period of Tidy Towns. Litter is still a problem and all are requested to help reduce and eliminate it.
A special bench, presented by their family, in loving memory of two great community activists, Tony and Mary Foley, will be unveiled on the Ballea Road on Saturday, June 21, 11am.
There was a great response to the celebration of Fr James’ 30th anniversary as a priest at all masses in Carrigaline. All were treated to complimentary ice cream, and parishioners donated €4,197 to Down Syndrome Ireland.
