A Cork woman carried out shoplifting offences four times at the same sports shop in Cork city centre and now she has been jailed for four months.
A Cork woman carried out shoplifting offences four times at the same sports shop in Cork city centre and now she has been jailed for four months.
Judge Treasa Kelly imposed the sentence of four months on the 33-year-old for carrying out the four thefts from the same shop.
Patricia Hogan of Liffey Park, Mayfield, pleaded guilty to the thefts which occurred at JD Sports in Cork.
Most recently, she went to JD Sports in Cork city centre on March 23 and stole €220 worth of sports clothing.
Two days earlier she stole €280 worth of goods from same premises.
On March 12 she stole goods worth €155 from the JD Sports store.
And then going back to last year she stole €360 worth of clothing there on March 30 2024.
In a public order incident earlier this month, on April 19, Garda Ross Broekhuizen found Ms Hogan at Peacock Row where she was intoxicated on something other than alcohol to such an extent that she was a danger to herself or others.
