Comedian Michael McIntyre is bringing his Magnificent show to Cork’s Live at the Marquee this summer.
He will be performing at the Leeside venue on July 25 and July 26.
McIntyre saw his big break come when he performed on the televised 2006 Royal Variety Performance.
Since then, he has become one of the most successful comedians in the world, with his tours selling over four million tickets.
On television, he hosted Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow from 2009 on BBC One.
The series was a huge success, receiving Bafta nominations and winning the National Television Award for the Best Entertainment Programme in 2012.
In 2016, he began hosting the hit BBC One show Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.
Now in its seventh series, the show has won several awards including a Bafta for Best Entertainment Performance.
In 2020, he devised and hosted the hit BBC One gameshow Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel.
The show has received Bafta and National Television Award nominations and returns later this year for a fourth series.
He also has written two bestselling autobiographies Life and Laughing: My Story and A Funny Life.
McIntyre is the latest act to be announced for a stacked schedule at Live at the Marquee.
An Evening with Roy Keane in Conversation with Roddy Doyle is among the standout shows set to take place at the Cork venue this summer.
Tickets for Michael McIntyre’s Cork shows will be going on sale this Friday morning at 9am via Ticketmaster.
