Met Éireann predicting more unsettled weather for Cork in the week ahead

Blustery conditions and periods of rain can be expected across Cork over the coming days.
While a status yellow wind warning was lifted across Cork this morning, blustery conditions and periods of rain can be expected across the coming days.
This is according to Met Éireann, which has said the remainder of today will see further spells of rain or showers, which will possibly become heavy at times.
However, will also be some dry and bright spells across Munster, mainly in the afternoon.
Strong and gusty southerly winds will ease and become variable for a time, then becoming strong north westerly winds during this evening.
Temperatures will reach highs of 7 to 10 degrees during the day, and are predicted to drop to as low as 2 degrees tonight, where showery outbreaks of rain will continue.
There will also be strong to near gale force northwest winds developing this evening.
A small craft warning was put in place for all coasts of Ireland late last night, and will remain in place until midnight tonight, as cyclonic variable winds may reach force 6 or higher.
Tomorrow will see a further mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, with longer spells of rain possible at times.
Showers will become isolated across parts of Munster in the late-afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will stay within a middle range, reaching highs of 6 to 9 degrees with strong to near gale and gusty north westerly winds, becoming moderate to fresh westerly later in the evening.
Nationally, Wednesday will be a cold bright day with sunny spells.
While there will be a lot of dry weather, some hail or sleet may be seen in the northern and western fringes.
Temperatures will reach between 5 and 8 degrees with moderate north to northwest winds, freshening in the afternoon.
Wednesday night will bring clear spells and scattered showers, which will be seen mainly in the west and north, with some wintry falls.
It will also turn frosty in parts with a few mist or fog patches too.
Lowest temperatures of -1 to 3 degrees can be expected, with moderate northwest winds easing light westerly.
Thursday will be mainly dry with sunny spells, with temperatures slightly increasing between 5 and 9 degrees.
The forecaster is expecting the weather to turn milder for Friday and the weekend, before more unsettled and windy conditions, with rain-bands, moving in from the Atlantic.
