A woman with 140 previous convictions for theft has pleaded guilty to her 141st offence of this kind.

Judge Mary Dorgan imposed a fine of €350 or three days in prison in default of payment of the fine.

Mary Foley, aged 42, of Cork Simon Community, pleaded guilty to the offence of going to Aldi at the Elysian and stealing a bottle of vodka on December 14, 2024.
