A driver was arrested in Cork over the weekend on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, in addition to having no valid tax, insurance or NCT.
Gardaí on patrol in Cork city stopped a motorist on Devonshire St, off the North City Link Rd, and found that the vehicle had no valid tax, NCT or insurance for the last two years.
The driver was then arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
The car was subsequently seized, with a court date to follow for the motorist.
