Northside band Kabin Crew are bringing their energetic show to Ireland’s biggest music festival.

It has been a whirlwind summer for the Cork kids, whose song ‘The Spark’ became a global hit after trending on TikTok.

The Northsiders were recently joined by the Lisdoonvarna Crew, from Clare, when they performed at the All Together Now festival in Waterford.

Now, Kabin Crew are heading to Laois for Electric Picnic.

Fans will be able to hear ‘The Spark’ and more of their music when they perform on the Sound Garden stage this weekend.

Kabin Crew will join a number of other Irish acts, including Today FM’s Kylie Minogue choir, Mark McCabe. DJ sets from Ed Smith, Emma Nolan, Claire Beck and more are also planned.

Rebel fans are spoiled for choice this year at Electric Picnic, as Macroom’s own Bambie Thug has also been announced as part of the lineup.

Following their stellar performance in representing Ireland at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo, Sweden, Bambie will perform ‘Doomsday Blues’ for the Stradbally festival goers.

The Macroom-born artist was added to the lineup in early July and was joined by Irish act CMAT, as well as fellow Eurovision star and two time winner, Loreen.

Electric Picnic kicks off this Friday, August 16 and will run until Sunday 18.

The sold-out and highly anticipated festival will also see headline acts such as Calvin Harris, Kylie Minogue, and Noah Kahan play across the weekend.
