Cork City FC lead tributes following death of club legend Colin Healy's wife Kelly
Kelly Healy, wife of Cork City FC former player and manager Colin Healy, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 4.
Cork City Football Club have announced the passing of Kelly Healy, wife of their former player and manager, Colin.
Kelly was mother to son Arran, who currently plays for Cork City FC, as well as daughter Hollie, with the club sharing “Our deepest condolences go to Colin, Arran, Hollie and their wider family.”
The club added that, as a mark of respect, there will be a minute's silence before tonight's game against Cobh Ramblers.
It was with immense sadness that all at Cork City FC learned of the passing of Kelly Healy, wife of our former player and manager, Colin, and mother of our player, Arran.

Kelly passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on April 4, with the family sharing on RIP.ie that she will be “sadly missed by her heartbroken husband and children, parents Hugh and Linda Smith, brother Darren, father-in-law Pat, mother-in-law Betty, brother-in-law Patrick, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.”
She will be lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig on Sunday 7 April from 4pm to 6pm, and a requiem mass will be held at 2pm Monday in the Church of St Mary and St John, Ballincollig and livestreamed at https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig, followed by private cremation.
They have asked for family flowers only, but that donations be made in lieu to the Dialysis Unit Cork University Hospital.
