A motorist stopped by the Roads Policing Unit in Cork city was found to be on the roads for 32 years will no full licence and driving with tyres described by Gardaí as a "road traffic incident waiting to happen". 

In a post on social media this evening, Gardaí said the Roads Policing Unit in Cork city checked out the vehicle "after spotting four passengers in the back instead of three".

"32 years on the road but the driver has never had a full licence, and these tyres were a road traffic incident waiting to happen," they said.
