Body of woman (50s) discovered at home in Cavan

A woman in her 50s has been found dead at a home in Co Cavan.
Gardaí were alerted to the scene on Connolly Street shortly after 2am on Tuesday morning.
An investigation is now underway, and the Coroner has been notified.
Gardaí said the results of the post-mortem exam will assist in determining the course of their investigation.
