Last month, the INMO voiced serious concerns over the level of overcrowding at hospitals saying "the sheer volume of patients" who were admitted to hospitals without a bed in November were "far too high".
The INMO said that during November 11,493 patients, including 434 children, went without a bed in Irish hospitals.
Cork University Hospital was the second most overcrowded hospital with 1,159 admitted patients waiting for beds at the hospital over the month.
