Breaking: Man taken to hospital after suspected stabbing in Cork city centre

A man has been taken to hospital following an incident in Cork city centre this evening.

Gardaí were called to the Paul Street area shortly after 6pm.

A man in his 20s had suffered a suspected stab wound.

He was taken to hospital following the incident, however, his condition is not known.

Garda investigations are ongoing.
