Due to essential maintenance work being carried out at Anglesea Street Garda Station, the public office will not be open to the public on Halloween, this Saturday, October 31 from 7am to 7pm.

A Gardaí spokesperson has assured people that it will have no impact on the operational policing of Cork City.

"For emergency calls, the 999 service will function as usual.

"Non–emergency telephone calls will be reverted to Togher Garda station.

"In person callers are requested to go to their closest garda station. Bridewell Garda Station on Kyrls Street/Cornmarket Street is the closest station to Anglesea Street.

"Immigration services are Monday to Friday and by pre-arranged appointment only and therefore will not be affected," the Garda spokesperson said.
