A STUNNING property in Cork features in the next episode of the series Selling Ireland’s Dream Homes next week.

Horsehead House in Passage West is a Tudor Revival villa, where highlights include a music room with mahogany parquet floor and ornate bay windows overlooking Cork Harbour.

The programme on RTÉ1 on Tuesday at 9.30pm gives us a glimpse into the property.

The series follow estate agents around the country as they bring some of Ireland’s most luxurious and pricey homes to market.

It aims to showcase the very best in prestigious properties, imagining life in aristocratic country mansions, chic city apartments, quirky castles, beachfront pads, uber-stylish urban villas and even a remote lighthouse.

We also meet the agents tasked to sell these exclusive homes and the owners fortunate enough to live in them, while interior designers, architectural historians and other experts help bring the stories of these houses to life.

Other properties that feature in Selling Ireland’s Dream Homes next week include:

Benmore House, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh – Owners Clare and Jason Palmer are elite physiotherapists whose CVs include Chelsea and Fulham football clubs. They have rehabilitated their Georgian country house, once home to CS Lewis’ grandfather and said to have inspired the Chronicles of Narnia.

Currabinny, Killiney, Co Dublin – A multi-tiered statement home where surprises include a sunken bath in the master bedroom and secret access to the beach.

Lansdowne Place, Co Dublin – Niamh de Barra and Sinead Considine create the ultimate show apartment using bespoke furniture and super-luxe styling.

Woodford, Booterstown, Co Dublin – Once a stables, now home to professional musician Clare Roche and her collection of beloved harps.

3, Glanmore Castle, Ashford, Co Wicklow – Set in the majestic Devil’s Glen, a castle home with elegant and eclectic decoration, including a unique baronial kitchen.

Karibu, Foxrock, Co Dublin – Karibu being Swahili for Céad Míle Fáilte, the welcome here includes swanky reception rooms, tennis court, sauna and outdoor swimming pool.
