Cork couple set to feature on 'Build Your Own Home' TV series

PART-time teacher and mum of three teenagers Esther Foreman has €230,000 to build the house of her dreams in Cork.

We see if her and partner Damien McDonald can achieve their dream in Ardfield, Clonakilty, in the next episode of Build Your Own Home on RTÉ1 on Wednesday at 9.35pm.

With no building experience at all, Harrison Gardner starts to teach Esther basic skills – and she takes to it like a duck to water. The project starts off well, but the sheer scale of it, the harsh climate, a dwindling pot of money and a lot of labour are all obstacles to progress.
