TV sport round up: Hurlers in action..plus World Cup continues

Following last weekend’s victory for the footballers, the hurlers are in action this Sunday.
Cork will meet Offaly in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling championship quarter-final at Semple Stadium, Thurles at 3.30pm. The winner will go on to face Galway in the semi-final. The action will be live on RTÉ One from 3.25pm.
The hurling quarter-final between Clare and Dublin takes place this Saturday at 7pm and will be broadcast on RTÉ.
The All-Ireland minor football semi-finals are live on TG4, on Friday at 7.30pm, and on Saturday at 5pm.
Meanwhile, the feast of FIFA World Cup matches continues with hosts USA taking on Australia on Friday at 8pm, followed by Scotland v Morocco at 11pm.
Selected games in the week ahead include Netherlands v Sweden on Saturday at 6pm, then Germany v Ivory Coast at 9pm, and Spain v Saudi Arabia on Sunday at 5pm.
Lionel Messi’s Argentina are next in action against Austria on Monday at 6pm, while Kylian Mbappe’s France take on Iraq that day at 10pm.
England’s next World Cup match is against Ghana on Tuesday at 9pm, while Scotland face five times winners Brazil on Wednesday at 11pm.
All matches are live on RTÉ and on BBC/ITV.
Meanwhile, the final two days of the US Open golf championship at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton New York play out on Sky on Saturday and Sunday.
In rugby, the URC final between Leinster and South African side Bulls is on Friday at Croke Park at 7.30pm, and is live on Premier Sports.
The two teams met in last year’s final when the Irish side ran out 32-7 winners.
Meanwhile, the next episode of Total Football on RTÉ2 on Monday at 12.50pm, is in Donegal to catch up with the dazzling young players from Lagan Harps FC, former club of Ireland star Amber Barrett’s club.
