Network Ireland West Cork to host ‘own the spotlight’ panel event

Designed to support women in “stepping into their power and confidently communicating their message”, the event will explore how to build presence, visibility, and influence in both professional and personal settings.

NETWORK Ireland West Cork will host a panel discussion entitled, Own the Spotlight: Building Confidence, Connection & Influence’, on February 19 from 6.30pm to 9pm at Rossmore Theatre in Clonakilty.

Designed to support women in “stepping into their power and confidently communicating their message”, the event will explore how to build presence, visibility, and influence in both professional and personal settings.

The evening will feature a dynamic panel of speakers from media, marketing, and the arts, each bringing a unique perspective on communication and confidence. It includes Luke Prendeville, Principal Creative Producer and AI Specialist at Web Summit and Digital Marketing Strategist; Lorna Horgan, Media and Communications Professional with 96FM and C103; and Irene Kelleher, Cork-born actress, writer and performer.

The event will be MC’d by Susan Collins Duggan, Vice President of Network Ireland West Cork and owner of Theatre Tricks Drama & Communications.

Speaking ahead of the event, Network Ireland West Cork President Anna Groniecka said: “So many women have powerful ideas and stories, but hesitate to take up space or be visible. Own the Spotlight is about confidence, connection and learning how to communicate in a way that feels authentic, impactful and true to who you are.” Own the Spotlight is open to women in business, professionals, entrepreneurs and anyone interested in building confidence and influence. The event reflects Network Ireland West Cork’s ongoing commitment to supporting women through connection, learning and inspiration. 

The event is free for Network Ireland members and priced at €25 for non-members.
