Caring responsibilities will be in focus at the next Network Cork event, which takes place on Wednesday evening (February 4). 

Entitled ‘The Sandwich Generation- What Next’, an expert panel will talk through the considerations of caring for a loved one, as well as practical advice on how to navigate through the process, and protecting yourself financially.

The panel members include Dara O’Shea and Louise O’Brien, of RHEA Family Funeral Care; Samantha Halpin, Halpin Wealth Management; and Terri O’Callaghan, of Decluttered by Terri. The discussion will be moderated by Irene Feighan, the Irish Examiner’s Feelgood Editor.

The event takes place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Little Island, at 6.30pm.

Network Ireland West Cork kicked off its 2026 events in recent weeks with Empower Your Year: Building Strong Foundations for Success & Wellbeing, an event designed to help women start the year with clarity, confidence and intention.

Vera Keohane, founder of Enjoy Your Home and Ireland’s first certified KonMari consultant, spoke about how our physical surroundings directly influence energy, focus and performance.

Jennie McGinn, Brand and Strategy Consultant and award-winning speaker, spoke to members on the power of mindset.

Following the Network Ireland National AGM, held last month, Karen Ronan has been named as President for 2026. Vice President is Joan Walsh while Sinéad O’Neill has been appointed as Vice President Designate. See networkireland.ie
