A trip down memory lane
The Echo today, Monday, March 4, begins a bright new era as a morning newspaper and to mark the occasion, we’ve dipped into our archives and found some fascinating old photos to share with our loyal readers.
In our main image, from 1957, three men pose with the Evening Echo for a publicity shot for the publication.
The other pictures were taken in the newspaper's various departments in Academy Street, on March 6, 1954.
