JOHN EGAN and Alan Browne are two Cork soccer stars who are flying high with their respective clubs, Sheffield United and Preston in England at the moment.

Both are senior Irish internationals and both are vital members of their respective teams, who will both be chasing future glory once the football resumes across the water in a few months time.

Egan will be hoping to qualify for Europe with the Blades, while Browne will be hoping to at least make the play-offs with Preston and then both can look ahead to Ireland's play-off games ahead of Euro 2021.

Both are now well equipped for modern football.  Both have great physiques and both are incredibly fit.

Here we look back at a time when they were making their names in Cork Schoolboy soccer to see the transformation in both men.
