A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with an operation targeting motorcycle theft in Ballymun, Dublin.

On Wednesday, the searches were conducted by the Stolen Motor Vehicle Investigation Unit of the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation (NBCI) with the assistance of members from the DMR North Division.

During the course of these searches, approximately seven motorcycles and e-bikes were recovered, with a number of these confirmed as stolen.

The bikes will be taken for further technical examination.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
