Man (20s) seriously injured following assault in Galway
A man has been left with serious injuries following an assault in Galway in the early hours of last Sunday.
The incident happened at Abbeygate Street at around 3:00 am.
A man in his 20s was approached by an unknown man and assaulted, causing a serious but non-life-threatening injury.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area around that time is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
