Riots in Belfast and the trial of Riad Bouchaker, who is accused of attempting to murder three children in Parnell Square, dominate Irish front pages on Thursday.

The Irish Times and Belfast Telegraph lead with anti-immigration riots in Belfast after Sudanese man Hadi Alodid appeared in court on Wednesday, charged with the attempted murder of Stephen Ogilvie.

The Irish Independent lead with an HSE audit revealing that hospital consultants who signed up to public-only work contracts worth over €300,000 were not subject to proper tracking to verify if they were phasing out fee-paying private practice.

The Herald, Irish Daily Mail, Irish Daily Mirror and Irish Daily Star all lead with the trial of Riad Bouchaker, who is accused of attempting to murder three children in Parnell Square, Dublin.
