An ATM has been stolen from a building in Co Cork.

The ATM was reported missing from a building in Little Island in the early hours of Wednesday, June 10th, according to gardaí.

Extensive damage was caused to the building during the incident, which is believed to have occurred at around 1.30am.

The scene has been technically examined.

Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

Any person or motorist who may have camera footage, including dashcam, and was travelling in the Little Island area, including along the N25 Westbound between 9pm and 6am on June 9th and 10th, has been asked to make their footage available to gardaí.
