A cyclist has been left with serious injuries after a crash between an e-bike and a car in Cabra, Co Dublin, on Monday.

Emergency services and gardaí responded to reports of a crash on Faussagh Avenue at 7.40 pm.

The cyclist, a 50-year-old man, was taken to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries.

The scene was examined, and the road has since reopened.

Investigations remain ongoing, and gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area at the time are asked to make it available to investigating gardaí.
