Gardaí have charged a woman as part of the investigation into a fatal road traffic collision that occurred in Dunleer, Co Louth, on July 14th, 2024.

The collision involved two cars on the R166 at Annagassan, Dunleer, Co Louth.

The driver of the first car, a man in his 60s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the second car, a woman, was airlifted from the scene to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, where she received treatment for serious injuries.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
