Man (30s) charged in connection with €14.2m worth of cocaine seized at Rosslare Europort

A man has been charged in connection with the seizure of €14.2 million worth of cocaine at Rosslare Europort, Co Wexford.

On Sunday, 202.5kg of suspected cocaine was seized by Revenue Officers following the search of a lorry which had disembarked from a ferry.

A man in his 30s was arrested and has been charged on Monday.

He is due to appear before Wexford District Court on Monday morning.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
