The Tánaiste has said Ireland is not "immune" to potential drone attacks.

It follows unexplained sightings over fellow European countries like Denmark, Germany, Norway, and Lithuania.

Speaking to reporters at a parade for Veterans at McKee Barracks in Dublin on Sunday, Simon Harris said: "We should never fool ourselves that Ireland is immune from such an attack."

He added that "no country in Europe is".

The incidents are part of what some European officials see as a pattern of Russian disruption, although the Kremlin has strongly denied any involvement.

Denmark is tonight reporting new drone sightings at a number of military locations.

It is the latest unexplained drone activity after several sightings last week, including the skies above five Danish airports.
