A man has been charged by police in connection with attacks on 5G masts in Belfast.

It comes after a series of arson attacks on masts, particularly in the west of the city.

The 45-year-old man has been charged with two counts of arson.

He is to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

A police spokesperson said: “As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
