Water main burst in Mallow, Co Cork repaired

A major burst on a water main in Mallow in Co Cork has been successfully repaired.

Uisce Éireann crews have completed the repairs on the raw water main supplying the Mallow Water Treatment Plant at Ballyellis.

It says the reservoir is beginning to refill in Mallow.

It will take some time to refill over the course of this evening and overnight.

Customers on the south side of Mallow town may experience low water pressure while the network recharges.
