Two men have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into organised criminal activity in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

Gardaí attached to the Divisional Drug Unit conducted a search operation on Tuesday morning, when nine addresses were searched in Drogheda.

Two men, aged in their 20s, were arrested and are being held at stations in the Garda North Western Region.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
