Election 2024: See the full list of candidates in your constituency

Tomas Doherty

More than 680 general election candidates are running for the Dáil across the State’s 43 constituencies.

The deadline for nominations passed at the weekend and returning officers have now published the final list of candidates in each area.

Below you can see who is standing in this year’s general election. Use the search bar to find candidates in your constituency.

The party with the most candidates is Fianna Fáil with 82, followed by Fine Gael with 80. Sinn Féin is fielding 71 candidates.

That means none of the three main parties will be able to form a majority in the Dáil on their own.

A total of 246 women are running in this year's election, the largest ever number and an increase of 53 per cent on the total that went forward in 2020.

In the outgoing Dáil, there were just 37 women TDs out of 160 (23 per cent).

The constituency with the most candidates is Louth at 24, while only 10 people are standing in Wicklow-Wexford.
