Four men have been arrested in connection with a violent incident in Co Clare on Monday.

At around 3:10pm, Gardaí responded to reports a vehicle was rammed and a group of men with weapons were involved in a row on the Watery Road in Ennis.

No serious injuries were reported.

On Thursday, a number of items were seized during a Garda search of a building in Ennis.

Four men were arrested, two of them aged in their late teens and 20s have been charged and are due before court on Friday.

The other two men aged in their 20s and 50s are still being detained.
