Gardaí are investigating after a refrigerated lorry container and its contents were stolen in north Co Dublin.

The 'Les Rives' container, which had around €150,000 worth of meat products inside, was taken on Saturday morning in the Turvey area, near Donabate.

At around 9am on Saturday morning, the trailer was hooked onto a Volvo cab at the back of a petrol station. Gardaí believe the vehicle was driven north.

Officers in Swords are asking for witnesses to come forward, especially anyone who saw anything unusual in the Turvey area on Saturday.
