Swan Lake Dancers announce second Dublin performance
Bord Gáis Energy Theatre has announced an extra performance date for the debut Irish run of Swan Lake by Ballet de Santiago.
The extra evening performance is taking place on Sunday, August 23rd.
The exciting South American company is accompanied by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
Based at the stunning Municipal De Santiago, Ópera Nacional de Chile in the Chilean capital, Ballet de Santiago has soared under the bold artistic direction of world-renowned, Chilean-born César Morales former star of Birmingham Royal Ballet, who returned home to his native country in 2024 to lead the company.
Now in its 66th year, Ballet de Santiago is widely considered the finest classical dance company in South America.
Founded in 1959, the Ballet de Santiago is considered one of the most outstanding dance companies in Latin America. It has a wide repertoire that includes classical, neoclassical, and contemporary works and has performed on important stages in the United States, Colombia, Uruguay, Peru, Argentina, Spain, Hungary, Germany, China, and Mexico.
