Central Cee’s debut studio album, Can’t Rush Greatness, has landed at number one on the UK albums chart.

The London rapper’s record outsold the rest of the top five combined, according to the Official Charts Company, and he has been awarded a custom rose gold number one album award in celebration.

This is the second time the 26-year-old has landed at number one in the albums chart after his 23 mixtape secured the top spot in 2022.

The music artist has also had eight top 10 singles as well as a 2021 mixtape, Wildwest, that peaked at number two in the chart.

Earlier in the month he announced a 39-date world tour, which will see the rapper play shows across the UK, Europe, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand later in the year.

He is up for three Brit Awards this year including artist of the year and song of the year for BAND4BAND featuring Lil Baby.

Entering the albums chart at number two is I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2), the follow up to US singer Teddy Swims’ debut studio album.

Another new entry, and in at number three, is Eusexua by FKA Twigs which is top of the official vinyl albums and record store charts, according to the Official Charts Company.

The rest of this week’s top five comprises Sabrina Carpenter’s album Short N’ Sweet and The Bad Fire by Scottish band Mogwai.

Over in the singles chart the top five follows the same order as last week with rising star Lola Young holding onto the top spot with her viral song Messy.

In at number two is Apt, by Blackpink star Rose and US singer Bruno Mars, with That’s So True, by Gracie Abrams, at number three.

In the number four spot is The Days, by DJ and producer Chrystal, with Sailor Song, by US music star Gigi Perez, at number five.
