Intense rains have caused a landslide at a coal mine on Sumatra island in Indonesia that has killed 11 miners.

A landslide in central Vietnam on Sunday buried at least 22 army personnel, just a week after another landslide killed 13 people as heavy rain continued to pound the region, state media reported.

Rescuers have resumed their search for missing people after a deadly landslide struck three villages in the mountains of Nepal.

Inniscarra road has been closed in the Carrignaveen area after a ditch collapsed following heavy rainfall. Emergency services were called to the area around 7pm to deal with the landslide.
