Landslide closes Inniscarra Road
The Fire Brigade were called to the area to deal with the issue.

Inniscarra road has been closed in the Carrignaveen area after a ditch collapsed following heavy rainfall.

Emergency services were called to the area around 7pm to deal with the landslide.

One unit of the Fire Brigade travelled to the area and Gardaí are also on site to manage the incident.

A county engineer was called for around 8.30pm to assess the situation and formulate a plan.

It is expected the road will be closed throughout the night.
