The funds they raise for Enable Ireland through participation in the Cork City marathon will go towards a new €1.2m development fund to convert a bungalow in Midleton into a state-of-the-art hub.

Dawid Mozolewski won the three-bed home in Carrigaline, worth €350,000, in the Enable Ireland 'Win a Home' competition.

They said industrial action is part of a campaign for equal pay now and in the future for staff of Enable Ireland who do similar work to colleagues in the HSE and other Section 38 voluntary organisations, but receive substantially lower pay.
