Banker Tailor Teacher Guy, ActorsVision Studio, St Patrick’s Quay, Cork, 3pm, €12.50: A solo storytelling performance by Neil O’Dwyer, presented as part of the Cork Fringe Festival this weekend. Also Sunday, 3pm.

Grapevvine, ActorsVision Studio, Cork, 7pm, €17: A night of comedy, spoken word and storytelling featuring Sinéad Quinlan, Ross Browne, Áine Gallagher and Dagogo Hart - part of the Cork Fringe Festival. Also Sunday at 7pm.

The House Must Win, Everyman, 2pm & 7.30pm: A new musical drama written by Cork musician Mick Flannery, in which Tommy Tiernan makes his musical theatre debut. Runs to May 16.

Don’t Tell Dad About Diana, Briery Gap, Macroom, 8pm, €18: Fast-moving comedy about two friends preparing to compete for the crown of Alternative Miss Ireland with a Princess Diana drag act.

Apocalypse How, Cork Arts Theatre, 2.3o0pm, €12.50: Final chance to see this riotous cabaret-theatre spectacle. Expect high camp, and a bunker load of camaraderie as the world ends.

Captain Wagtail, The Pavilion, 3pm, €12.50: What happens when Cork’s notorious historical daughter, Anne Bonny, lands in 2026? A fast-paced theatrical adventure.

Joe Corbett - A Celebration, Cork Opera House, 8pm, €35: An evening in memory of Cork-born baritone, opera singer and musical theatre performer, Joe Corbett, who sadly passed away in July, 2025. A stellar line-up including Majella Cullagh, Mary Hegarty, Molly Lynch, John Molloy, Ryan Morgan, Richard Morris, and Kim Sheehan, plus Joe’s niece, Eva Corbett. All proceeds go to The Irish Cancer Society.

Baltimore Fiddle Fair, various venues: The event runs all weekend and features musicians from all over the world, playing in churches, marquees, and on boats. See www.fiddlefair.com.

John Moriarty & Randy Ingram Quartet, Triskel Arts Centre, 1pm, €16-18: Part of the venue’s lunchtime jazz series.

Kíla 4, The Richmond Revival, Fermoy, 8pm, €28.60: The band return to Fermoy with an array of instruments and musical escapades.

Sunday

Donovan, Sea Church, Ballycotton, 3pm, €40: The honorary Corkman is widely regarded as one of the most influential songwriters and recording artists working today.

Sunday

Dance Offering 2026, Cork Opera House, €28: Students from the Alan Foley Academy of Dance present a one-off performance, accompanied by special guest artistes from Cork City Ballet and Studio D.

John Of Thrones — John Spillane, Elizabeth Fort, Cork city, 5pm, €12.50: Join comedian Spillane as he besieges Elizabeth Fort! Expect the unexpected - part of Cork Fringe Festival.
