  • Icarus And The Man God, By Derry Cotter, Cork Arts Theatre, 8pm: Searing and topical tragicomedy that delves deep into the enigma that is Donald Trump. Tickets €18, corkartstheatre.com

  • The Andrea Bocelli Experience, Cork Opera House, 8pm: Captivating line-up of Bocelli’s most beloved songs including the powerful Caruso, Il Mare Calmo Della Sera, and Fall On Me.

  • The Kates, Live at Coughlan’s, Douglas St, 10.30pm: The West Cork 5-piece continue their Pictures Here Of Dreams EP launch tour.
  • Big Country, Cyprus Avenue, 7pm: Formed in 1981 by guitar-playing founder members Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson, of Dunfermline in Scotland, they were driven by a shared vision of widescreen guitar melody, harmony and lyric. Their classic debut album The Crossing was released in 1983.
  • The Lee Sessions Trad Trail, Sin é, 6.30pm & 9pm: Extensive trail of free traditional Irish music sessions in Cork city, featuring masters of the genre.

  • Midnight Family, Apple TV+: Spanish-language drama inspired by an award-winning documentary. Marigaby Tamayo spends her days as a medical student and her nights working aboard her family’s private ambulance, saving the lives of those in need on the streets of Mexico City.
  • Nobody Wants This, Netflix: Kristen Bell and Adam Brody star in this comedy, about an agnostic, outspoken podcaster who meets an unconventional rabbi, at a friend’s dinner party.
