Connolly Dance Studios End of Year Show 2026, 2pm, €31.50: Expect a spectacular show full of great music, talent and passionate dancers.

Drink Rum with Ex-pats, The Pavilion, Cork city, 8.30pm, €22.50: Expect free rum, crowd surfing, sea shanties and a live dog in this rollicking and riotous exploration of immigration and home.

Sunday

Pool (No Water), Everyman Theatre, 7pm, €22 preview, €25 standard: Staged in an empty swimming pool beneath The Metropole Hotel, this new production of Mark Ravenhill’s 2006 play blurs the boundaries between installation, physical theatre and live art. Laoise Leahy presents ‘Breathe In & Let Go’ with the Johnny Taylor Trio, 1pm, €18-16: A native of Cork and a contemporary voice lecturer at MTU Cork School of Music, Laoise is known for her rich, soulful tone and her instinctive, fearless approach to improvisation.

Paddy Steer plus guest Twitcher, Boole Library, UCC, 6.30pm, €13.50: Paddy Steer is a multi-instrumental shape-shifter whose talents embrace bass, drums, Hawaiian guitar and more.

Summer Gala Concert, Aula Maxima, UCC, 7.30pm: The National String Quartet Foundation’s annual summer extravaganza features performances by Vanbrugh & Friends, Solas Quartet, Ora Quartet, Olympia Quartet, Meliora Quartet, Yershovy Sisters and Katherine Hunka’s Rebel Strings.

Kiss Night, The Pavilion, 10.30pm, €9.55: DJ Shine from France is in the house, hosted by Mystic Gold & Frank Jez.

Nightdress+ Leah Ellis + Lily McMahon+ Bobby Ho, Cyprus Avenue, €10: Nightdress are an indie folk/rock Cork-based band, Lily McMahon provides a blend of pop, soul, jazz & R&B, Bobby Ho does contemporary R&B, Jazz and pop, and Leah Ellis is a singer-songwriter of melancholic indie folk.

Sunday

Cork Rocks for Rory 2026 Open-Air Concert - Fitzgerald Park, June 14, 1-6pm, free: A highlight of the festival tribute to Rory Gallagher, this features a strong line-up including Tres Hombres, The Crew, Hot Guitars and Dying Breed, performing some of Rory’s most iconic songs.

David Gray, Live at the Marquee, Cork city, 7pm, €59.50: The multi-platinum Scot who is hugely popular in Ireland returns for a career-spanning performance.

The Irish Yogurts Clonakilty Street Carnival, 11am: The town’s main street is transformed into an open-air dining space showcasing an array of dishes crafted by acclaimed local restaurants, artisan food producers, hoteliers and chefs.

Sunday

Erupcja (12a), Triskel Arts Centre, 2pm, €8: Charli XCX stars as Bethany, who embarks on a holiday with her boyfriend and reunites with an old friend, with whom she has combustible chemistry.
