DCT didn’t disappoint on their first live outing of the season to go four points clear at the top at sun drenched Camden last Sunday afternoon in the Grandon’s Toyota Second Division league.
A goalless first-half burst into life in the 49th minute when Robbie Burke bore in on goal to score from close range.
Eoin Field doubled the advantage in the 62nd minute before sub Jay Kelly combined with Dean O’Sullivan to score a third ten minutes later. Referee Joe Harris, who first refereed on the league’s panel back in the early nineties, allowed the game to flow much to the enjoyment of both teams.

ASH remain sixth in the table after their 4-1 win over Curry House Hungry Tigers at Mayfield Park last Sunday morning.
An early brace from Aaron Keohane, set up by Adam Foley and former Swyft Energy goal ace Adam Paul Murphy, was followed by a third from Murphy on the stroke of half-time.
After Keohane completed his hat-trick with four minutes remaining, Sami El Fellah reduced the deficit in the 88th minute.

ePower won for the first time in five outings after opening the scoring through Joshua Dempsey five minutes before half-time at Mayfield Park. Peadar Gilroy was instrumental in setting up Aaron Walsh for a second in the 55th minute before Kaelem Hennessy supplied Lachlan McRae with the cross to add a third eight minutes from time.

Fourth placed Valley Rangers entertained joint top Council at Conna last Saturday afternoon.
Following a goalless opening forty-five minutes, the destination of the points was decided inside three second-half minutes between the 54th and 57th on the clock.
First, John Noonan blasted a penalty high into the roof of the net before Ivan Ohrin struck a second shortly afterwards. Council pushed on in search of a way back into the match and were rewarded when Kieran O’Regan supplied former Cork Eagles’ favourite Rob Susek with the pass to shoot past Jaydan O’Connor in the 77th minute.
The hosts hung on for the win which was enough to take them level with their opponents on goal difference.

Helio opened up a three point lead at the top after first-half goals from Sergio Cailla Castano and David Marijuan inflicted a first defeat of the season on the visitors at Mayfield Park.
Helio enjoyed the better of the proceedings and were deprived a third after Vale keeper Robert Osborne made an excellent penalty safe early in the second-half.

After their heroic FAI Junior Cup defeat to Coachford on penalties the previous week, champions Doolan’s Cow were brought crashing down to earth by DoMa Brazil at Gortnaglough Community Park.
The hosts reversed their early season defeat by coming from a goal down after Aaron Hennessy opened the scoring from Scott Lawler’s cross in the 7th minute, to go 3-1 up through Rafael Filippe Machado (2) and Gabriel Giovanardiby the 70th minute.
The league’s al-time aggregate top goalscorer, Tony O’Reilly poached a second for Doolan’s in 82nd minute but it wasn’t enough to prevent the visitor’s first defeat of the campaign.

Unbeaten ISF Ballyphehane had a convincing win over promoted Marlboro Trust at Gourtnaglough Community Park last Friday night.
Three goals inside the opening seven minutes from Jamie Thompson, Conor Callaghan and Timmy O’Reilly set the tone before Robert Tier added a fourth in the 23rd minute.
After O’Reilly scored his second within a minute of the commencement of the second 45, O’Reilly, Tadgh Shanahan and Sean Moynihan netted further goals to complete the scoring.
