Cork GAA clubs are to receive an initial allocation of 10,814 tickets for the Munster SHC final.

Ben O’Connor’s side face Limerick at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday week, June 7. It will be the first provincial hurling decider to be played at the venue in front of a full-capacity crowd – in 2021, Limerick overcame Tipperary before a Covid-restricted crowd of 7,000.

The Cork club allocation is split between 832 stand tickets and 9,982 for the terraces.

The breakdown per clubs will be based on grading and codes.

For hurling clubs, there will be six stand and 48 terrace tickets for premier senior and senior A outfits, with premier intermediate, intermediate A and premier junior affiliations receiving four stand tickets each and 44 terrace.

Junior A clubs are to be given two stand tickets and 38 terrace, with junior B getting two and 20 each respectively.

Football affiliations will receive the same terrace quantities as their hurling counterparts but no stand tickets.

In addition, clubs with players on the Cork panel are to be given six terrace tickets per player on the panel.

For example, Midleton, who have Tommy O’Connell and Brion Saunderson in the squad and are premier senior in hurling and junior A in football, would be entitled to six stand tickets and 98 for the terraces.

Adult stand tickets are priced at €50, with student and OAP tickets €45 each. Terrace tickets are €40 for adults and €35 for concessions – juvenile (U16) tickets for stand and terrace are €10 each.

Beyond the tickets going directly to clubs, there are 3,500 Cork season-ticket holders, as well as 2,224 premium-level seat-holders and 364 South Stand seat-holders.

Tickets are also to be distributed to various other categories as decided by Cork County Board, totalling 2,516 for the stand and 160 for terraces.

The senior hurling panel receive complimentary tickets with the option to buy more, with some set aside for the county senior football squad and management and the U20 and minor management and backroom teams.

All-Ireland senior medal holders, sponsors, county board and divisional sub-committees, One county referees’ panel, Cork Worldwide and national and local elected representatives are also entitled to allocations of varying sizes.
