Cork boss John Cleary has made no changes to the starting team for his side’s Allianz Division 2 Football League clash with Offaly on Sunday afternoon.

Glenisk O’Connor Park in Tullamore is the venue with throw-in at 2pm as the Rebels stick with the team that defeated Louth last time out.

It’s no surprise that the management have made no changes to the starting 15 especially with how that game went in Drogheda. It was an impressive and controlled showing from the Rebels as they won 1-17 to 1-12.

It followed the opening day victory over Cavan at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Cork will be aiming to win the first three games of a league campaign in the top two divisions on Sunday for the first time since 2014 when the Leesiders were a Division 1 team under Brian Cuthbert.

Fresh from winning the Sigerson Cup with UL on Wednesday night against UCC, Tommy Walsh is down to start at corner-back.

For the second successive game, Brian Hurley and Steven Sherlock will both start from the off. That was something the management were reluctant to do in 2023 and ’24 before Sherlock took a break for the 2025 season.
